Granola Bar (Clean Eating Version)

Ingredients:

ADD TO LIST
  • 2 cups Old Fashioned Oats or 7 grain cereal
  • 1 cup Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
  • 1/2 - 3/4 c. Turbinado Sugar (Sugar in the raw)
  • 3/4 c raisins (chocolate chips)
  • 1/2 cup wheat germ
  • 3/4 tsp sea salt (scant)
  • 3/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp water (as needed)

Instructions:

Mix together all of dry ingredients. Then mix together all liquid ingredients ( oil,  honey, vanilla and egg).  May add 2 tsp. water.  Then take liquid mixture and blend into dry mixture. Spray 13×9 inch pan (regular cake pan) with nonstick spray.  Spread in the pan; smooth down or pat firmly.  Bake 350 for 25-35 minutes.  Cool before cutting.
