Fresh Salsa

Ingredients:

  • • 2 large cans tomatoes (diced or peeled plum tomatoes in sauce, do not drain them) sometimes
  • I throw in a few fresh tomatoes too if I have some that need to be used quickly. I don’t use
  • all fresh because they make the salsa pink rather than red and don’t have as intense a tomato
  • flavor.
  • • 1 or 2 onions depending on size (2 small or 1 large)
  • • 3-4 cloves of garlic
  • • 1 bunch cilantro
  • • Juice of 2 limes
  • • 2-4 jalapeno peppers (or ¼ to ½ of a jar of sliced in a jar depending on how much heat you want)
  • • 1 Tbs or so of cumin
  • • 2 tsp or so of chili powder
  • • 2 tsp salt

Instructions:

-throw it all in a food processor until it is chopped to the desired consistency.
As you can probably tell, you can adjust most everything in this recipe to your liking
