Cookie Dough Brownies


  • Brownie-
  • 4 oz unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 2 cups light brown sugar, packed
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup flour
  • Cookie Dough-
  • 3/4 cup butter at room temperature
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 3/4 cup granulated white sugar
  • 3 Tbsp milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups mini chocolate chips


1. Prepare brownies- Preheat oven to 325. Spray 9 x 13 pan and set aside. Melt chocolate in microwave for 30 seconds and stir after each 30 second interval until smooth. Set aside to cool. In separate bowl whisk butter and brown sugar- add vanilla and eggs. Mix in melted chocolate then then flour. Mix until just combined- spread batter into pan. Bake 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

2. Prepare cookie dough. In medium bowl use electric mixer and combine butter, brown sugar, white sugar, milk and vanilla. Mix in flour until combined. Stir in chocolate chips.

3. Spread cookie dough over cooled brownies. Refrigerate until dough is firm. Cut brownies and serve.
